No. 1 What is my Profile?
The Profile is your own online Profile where you can showcase your talent to potential customers from around the world in a professional and user-friendly manner. You decide on the appearance and content of your Profile depending on your business needs. Your Profile even has its own web address!
There are four main pages in your Profile:
Profile: This is like the homepage for your Profile. Here you can fill in your basic personal information and contact details.
IntellectWorks: On this page you can upload your portProfile works for other members to see.
Resumé: Here you can provide your professional resumé, including work experience and references etc.
Template: This page is used to change the the appearance, or skin, for your Profile and is only visable in your own Profile.
No. 2 How do I edit my personal information in my Profile?
Step 1: Go to My Office and click My Profile under the Main Menu on the left. You will arrive at your Profile page.
Step 2: Clickto update information in each relevant section.
Please note that the following restrictions apply to the edit function:
1. Your myTino nickname can't be changed once you have registered as a myTino member.
2. Your real name and identification certificate number cannot be edited once you become a verified member.
3. The email address you use to sign in cannot be changed after registering.
If you need to change your ID number or the email address you use to sign in to myTino, you will need to contact myTino Customer Service.
Important: Your Personal Information is made public to all other myTino members. Do not enter any information that you wish to keep confidential.
No. 3 What should I say in my Personal Summary?
Imagine if you are meeting someone very important for your business. This person is very busy and you have only five minutes to introduce yourself and explain what you do. This is the sort of content you should put in your Personal Summary. Think of it as a marketing statement about your capabilities, your experience and what you can do for potential customers. We suggest you include some of the following: your business sector, key strengths, awards, testimonials and experience etc.
No. 4 How do I manage my IntellectWorks?
Adding Works:
Currently myTino only supports picture files (JPG or GIF) smaller than 500KB, athough we are working on providing support for a range of other types of media in the near future, including video and audio files.
Step 1: From the IntellectWorks page in your Profile, click . A window will appear where you can enter the details for the work.
Step 2: Enter the relevant information as directed including the folder where you would like to upload the work. Items marked with an asterix (*) must be filled in order to upload the work whereas other fields are optional. Entering appropriate tags will allow users to find your work easily when performing searches.
Step 3: Click and go to the folder where your work is located on your computer.
Step 4: Open the work you wish to add and click.
Deleting Works:
Step 1: Go to the folder in the IntellectWorks page where the work is located and click the work you wish to remove.
Step 2: Click . A dialogue box will appear asking you if you wish to continue.
Step 3: Click .Please note that once a work is deleted it cannot be restored. Should you wish to include the work again at a later time, you will need to upload the work again from your computer.
Editing Works:
Step 1: Go to the folder in the IntellectWorks page where the work is located and click the work you wish to edit.
Step 2: Click . A window will appear where you can edit the details for the work.
Step 3: Edit the work as required and click.
