Keeping your account safe

No. 1  How can I keep my account safe?
  • It is very important to take steps to ensure your account is safe. You should always use myTino’s secure system for important data transfers and only accept payment using myTino approved methods. myTino provides you with a transaction password which is required for any transaction to take place. Your transaction password is critical to your myTino account.Never provide your email address, username, or passwords by email. Neither myTino nor your bank will ever ask for this information by email.
  • Check the website address you link to. Make sure the site is the site you want to go to. For myTino, the address  should always start with http://www.mytino.com/... Better yet, find the site by typing the company's URL into your browser's address bar.
  • Upgrade your browser. The latest versions of web browsers (like Internet Explorer and Firefox) include anti-phishing features which can detect whether the site you are visiting is legitimate or not. Download the latest Internet Explorer or Firefox today.
  • Never enter information into forms within email messages. Before you enter any information check the web address.
  • Check your online bank accounts frequently. Make sure all transactions are valid. If they aren't contact your bank or credit card company immediately.
  • Don't respond to pressure. Phishers use scare tactics, and urgent language to pressure you into submitting confidential data. Don't be fooled.
If you receive an email pretending to be from myTino, we want to know about it. Please forward any phishing emails or fake myTino websites to service.en@mytino.com

  • It can happen to anyone, so depending on the information you sent you can do any or all of the following:
  • Talk to your credit card company.
  • Report this to your local Law Enforcement Agency.
  • Check if more of your email accounts were affected by this incident and minimize risk by changing passwords and informing your contacts.
  • Notify myTino by clicking the REPORT button, and forward the email to us so we can help prevent further incidents.
