THE Host Town Department of the 2007 Special Olympics World Summer Games Shanghai Steering Committee (GSC) held the "Meeting to Advance Reception and Host Town Program for the 2007 SOWSG Delegations". About 260 representatives from 11 cities, including Beijing, Xi'an, Dalian, Harbin, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Wenzhou, Jiaxing, Nanjing, Wuxi, and Suzhou, attended the meeting.
The reception services for the 2007 SOWSG delegations involve 11
cities and Shanghai’s 19 districts and counties, 107 hotels, 144 streets
and towns, and 1,877 families. This Special Olympics Games is to receive
about ten thousand athletes, coaches and officials.
