THE on-month long foreign language training has now been completed. About 350 volunteers for the 2007 SOWSG from Shanghai passed exams in English, Spanish and Arabic. They will start working for the 2007 SOWSG from the end of September.

 The training comprised three categories: language service, liaison officer support and host town.

 The volunteers will be assigned to the HQ or each district/county based on their respective levels of foreign languages.

 After the 2007 SOWSG, most of the foreign language volunteers will become volunteers for the 2008 Olympic Games Shanghai Area.
